To test notifications, you can reset your extension. This means that if you saw a notification that should show up at a certain frequency (every day for example), then you dismiss it, you will not see this notification again for 24 hours.
To reset this frequency while you are testing, follow the steps below.
Option 1
- Right click on the extension icon in your browser bar.
- You will see a dropdown menu.
- Click Options.
- This will open a new tab. Click the Clear Cache button.
Option 2
- If you do not see the extension icon in your browser bar, click on the puzzle piece icon on the browser and then click manage extensions.
- Then find the FCM Extension and click Manage.
- Then click Extension Options.
- This will open a new tab. Click the Clear Cache button.
